Born and raised in Ocean City, New Jersey, Justin was surrounded by the real estate industry. His father is a broker in Ocean City and his mother worked with a developer focusing on interior design. Both of his grandfathers were also realtors. After graduating Rowan University in 2012, he received his New Jersey Real Estate License and jumped into the industry, primarily focusing on rentals and property management in Ocean City.
A job opportunity sent Justin to Baltimore in 2013 to work at a start-up ecommerce company where he wore many hats including sales, marketing and client operations. Working for a startup company was a great experience but he quickly realized his true passion lied within the real estate industry. He received his Maryland Real Estate License in 2016 and began working with local developer, Charm City Builders, where he learned the investment and development side of the industry. Justin found it was the perfect opportunity in 2018 to move back to his home town of Ocean City New Jersey and begin working on his father, Joe Sheppard's, real estate team.
